Bert Everett, 77, Dies at Hospital Bert Everett, 77, a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, died at 2:15 p. m. Saturday at Culver hospital. Born Oct. 16, 1874, near Wesley, the son of Jonathan and Eliza Simms Everett, he married Pearl Pruitt Sept. 22, 1896. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving are five sons, Leo Everett of Indianapolis, Lester and Clifford of Crawforsville, Robert Everett of Lafayette, and Floyd Everett of Springfield, IL.; a brother, Harry Everett of Crawfordsville ; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The wife and a son, Morris Everett, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Proffitt and Sons funeral home, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. kbz
